A focus on tears.

Many of the elements on the Passover Seder plate point to suffering and remembering the Israelites toiling as slaves in Egypt. Do you remember what these elements symbolized?

Parsley + Salt Water - Charoset - Horseradish

Exodus 3:7-8 says, "I have surely seen the affliction of my people who are in Egypt and have heard their cry because of their taskmaster.

I know their sufferings, and I have come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians and to bring them up out of that land to a good and broad land, a land flowing with milk and honey..."

When you have been in a season of tears, what has your experience of God's presence with you in it been like?

Has it felt like God has SEEN, HEARD, KNOWN, and COME to you in those seasons to bring deliverance?

Do you believe God cares for you in the midst of your suffering?

Psalm 5 says, "Give ear to my words, O LORD, consider my sighing. Listen to my cry for help, my King and my God, for to you I pray. In the morning, O LORD, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait in expectation."

What would it be like for you to make this your prayer this week?
